Consider this your invitation to join the den! Big commitment or small, one-time help or an every Friday night regular, we want you here! Whether you've got a few hours or a few seasons to give, there's a spot with your name on it. Here's where we need you:
Concessions - Melanie Rickert, Chair
creekviewconcessions@gmail.com
Concessions is our largest volunteer need, our primary income for the Band, and a fun way to get involved and work with other band parents to serve our kids and our Creekview community. There are a number of positions needed:
| Back of House Lead | Plan Inventory, Order Food & Supplies, Pickup Food & Supplies |
| Front of House Lead | Setup Concessions Stand before Events, Support Concessions Event Teams |
| Event Team (per Event) | Cashier (adult) x 4 - Take Orders and run the Square terminal and Cash Box |
| Runner (student) x 4 - Paired with a Cashier, Runners assemble the orders | |
| Station Operator x 4 - Popcorn, Pretzels, Nachos, Sno Cones, etc. depending on the weather and the event | |
| Grill (adult) x 2 - Grillmaster and Wrapper for Hotdogs and Hamburgers |
Concession Chair - Melanie's daughter will be graduating this May, and we will need a new Committee Chair for Concessions to take over for her. If you are interested in doing that, please reach out to Melanie at the email above.
First Aid - Jessica Ledbetter & Sharon Foran, Chairs
creekviewbandmedical@gmail.com
The First Aid committee keeps our Marching Grizzlies safe throughout the season. From cuts and scrapes to beating the heat, the First Aid team makes sure we are following safe and healthy practices while giving our all on the field. There should always be at least one member who is CPR & First Aid trained, and a few folks on-hand at all events to keep our kids safe and healthy.
Fundraising - Nellena Dooley, Chair
creekviewfundraising@gmail.com
Fundraising is a big job, and we need big help. Membership fees cover a lot, but not everything it takes to run our program at a competitive level. That gap is closed by volunteers finding sponsors, obtaining donations, and running spirit nights, raffles, bake sales, and vendor partnerships. It takes a team to pull it off.
We're looking for someone (or several someones) ready to step in that gap by building business relationships, organizing events, and finding creative ways to get our community excited about supporting our kids. Our Fundraising team is focused on fun, community-driven fundraising that works.
Hospitality - Nichole Hall, Amanda Cantelmo, & Katie Ross, Chairs
The Hospitality Committee makes sure our marching members, instructors, judges, and the rest of our Creekview Marching Grizzly family feel at home throughout the season. From organizing meals to keeping our kids fed during busy rehearsal and performance schedules to hosting the end-of-year Band Banquet, the Hospitality committee rolls out the red carpet and puts a personal touch on serving our kids.
Logistics - Andrew Ross, Chair
grizzlybandlogistics@gmail.com
The Logistics committee gets our Marching Grizzly Gear wherever it needs to go. If you love hauling trailers and run on elbow-grease, Logistics is the team for you. From props to percussion pit and everything in-between, Logistics gets the show on the road, even at Home Games.
Uniforms - Melissa Conrad & Tonya Brooks, Chairs
creekviewbanduniforms@gmail.com
The Uniform committee keeps our Marching Grizzlies looking sharp on and off the field. As we don’t send uniforms home with the marchers, we handle all things uniform-related in preparation for the marching season, make sure all the marchers have everything in the right place before events, and keep the uniforms clean and tidy throughout the season
Bus Chaperones
Occasionally, we will need additional volunteers to serve as Bus Chaperones. We can usually fill these slots with members of the committees above who will already be serving at away events, but sometimes need additional parents to maintain law and order on the buses for long journeys. County Background Check required.
